A booking agent should know when to stop

In short
Find a time, answer the question asked, and hand pricing to a person.
A booking agent’s job is to find a time, not to sell. The good ones answer the question asked, offer two real times and get out of the way.
Ours read the calendar live, never offer a slot they cannot keep, and ask at most three questions before the call: team size, the tools in use, and what prompted the request.
When it hands over
Pricing questions, contract terms and anything about another customer go to a person. The agent says so plainly and books the call anyway.
